Pilotlog.tech ("Pilotlog", "we", "us") is operated by DNG Tech Ltd. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Your logbook is yours, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account details you give us, such as your email address and the profile information you choose to add (for example your pilot role and experience).
• Your logbook data, including the flights, aircraft, crew, licences, and medicals you record.
• Usage information needed to run and improve the app, such as basic device and diagnostic data.

How we use it

We use your data to provide the service: to store your logbook, calculate your totals, currency, and limits, warn you before an expiry, and keep your account secure. We also use a small amount of aggregate usage data to improve the app.

How your data is stored

Your logbook is stored securely with our infrastructure provider and is backed up and synced across your devices. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run Pilotlog, for example hosting, authentication, payments, and email delivery, and only as needed to provide the service or where we are legally required to. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and abuse; your use of it is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your data, including the right to access, correct, export, or delete it. You can export or delete your logbook from within the app, or contact us and we will help.

Cookies

The marketing site uses only the cookies it needs to function, plus the cookies set by the services described below. We do not use advertising trackers.

We use Cookiebot to manage cookie consent. When you first visit, Cookiebot shows a banner where you can accept or decline non-essential cookies, and it blocks those cookies until you agree. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookiebot banner.

We also use Google reCAPTCHA on our forms to protect against spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA sets cookies and collects device and usage information for that purpose, as described under Sharing above.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
